I wish that I had a camera in that moment. First the four of them were banging on their musical instruments, running up and down the stairs, making lots of ruckus, and amusing us with their antics and “look at me!”s. There was a moment after that that brought quiet and reminded me to hold the beautiful spaces very close to my heart. She was looking at her son with such adoration and amusement, and pure joy, watching him enjoy life, enjoy food, her eyes glimmering as she reminded her smiling son of her love.
